Ep.566: What’s in a Promise?

The importance of keeping our word

Theme Scripture: Hebrews 11:13

Everybody makes promises. Everybody has experiences where they make a commitment of some kind to another, to do something on their behalf. A number of things can happen as a result of this: We can fulfill our promise entirely or partially. We can decide not to fulfill it. We can not fulfill it because of external circumstances. So, how important is a promise? Should “our word be our bond?” What about God’s promises? Does He ALWAYS keep them? How would we know? Stay with us as we look into the delicate realm of promises and their importance in our lives.
