This is Part 2 in a series where we exhaustively address supposed contradictions in the Bible.
There are many biblical accounts that could easily leave you scratching your head and wondering “why would God do that?’ As a result many assert that God is basically a monster. In a recent podcast, we dealt with one example: God telling Abraham to sacrifice his son Isaac. What kind of God would require such a thing? Watch this short vlog then listen to the full podcast of the same name for more details.
The Bible records Jesus performing many miracles and we can read specific details for approximately 35 of these. The miracles fit into four categories: healing, raising the dead, using nature, and casting out demons. This short animated video for your kids takes a look at a few of Jesus’ amazing miracles in detail.
So, what did angels do in the Bible? They performed the specific job that God wanted them to do and then they left. They were always sent to ONLY do the will of God, not to make friends with humans. Have your kids watch this short animated video to find out about the different kind of angels and what they did.
We all know that David killed Goliath, right? Did you know that there is another text that says someone else killed him? Now what? Do we just say that other scripture is wrong? Watch this short vlog then listen to the full podcast of the same name for more details.
Is the Bible contradictory or can each and every contradiction be explained?
Atheists will tell you there is no scientific proof of God nor can there be. They have a materialistic view of the universe that, by definition, excludes God. Though this philosophy is pervasive in the world today, there is much evidence that reveals a great deal of willing ignorance in that belief. Is science the only source of truth? Does science really validate godlessness? On this podcast, we review a number of scientific ideas and questions that demonstrate the other side of the argument, namely, that a super-intelligent Creator is behind the existing of this universe and all life.
Such a great question from one of our younger listeners! God treats people differently based on the situation and the time period in which they live. Watch this short animated video for more.
The conversation continues from our weekly podcasts to specfically address listener questions.
